Senior Project Manager

To support their continued growth, we are looking for experienced professionals to join their team in the Germany.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take on a key role in leading complex and high-value projects for global clients. You will collaborate with international teams and apply your expertise to navigate the unique challenges of data center projects. These projects require advanced technical knowledge beyond standard building features, making your leadership essential for delivering successful green- and brownfield developments. Acting as the single point of contact for clients, you will ensure seamless communication and project execution.

Your responsibilities will include

• Managing and leading large-scale projects across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring optimal value for multinational clients.
• Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams during project development and execution.
• Initiating projects with clients, coordinating stakeholder input, analysing solutions, preparing project briefs and business cases, and securing necessary approvals.
• Overseeing all project controls, including planning, cost control, project administration, and contract management.
• Operating in an international environment, with potential for short-, medium-, and long-term travel.
• Managing projects with short lead times and tight deadlines.
• Primarily working on German projects; therefore, experience in the German market is highly preferable.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinating resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.

Your Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ideally, you have:

• A technical background (civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering) from a recognized university.
• Over 6 years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects, preferably within data centres or similar industries.
• A solid understanding of digital and automated design processes (BIM360, CDE).
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in German being a strong advantage.
• Previous experience working within a design and engineering consultancy is preferred.
• A willingness to travel internationally as required.
