About the Role
As a Design Manager specializing in Critical Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and engineering of state-of-the-art data centres. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions for some of the world’s most demanding clients. Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing project scope, design budgets, and contract documentation.
• Developing and maintaining design delivery schedules and distributing workload within the team.
• Coordinating and optimizing designs across multiple disciplines and external partners.
• Leading design solutions, reviewing technical challenges, and implementing improvements.
• Presenting and communicating innovative design concepts to clients and project teams.

Your Profile
You are a proactive and results-oriented professional with a strong technical background in building design. Additionally, you bring:

• A master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects—preferably in data centres or similar high-tech environments.
• Expertise in digital and automated design processes (BIM360, CDE).
• Solid understanding of industry best practices in design and construction.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch are a plus).
• Flexibility to travel for project engagements.
